Early Development Phase
The foundation of our technical innovation began with revolutionary approaches to construction materials and sustainable building methodologies.
Company Founded
Terrasystem GmbH was founded to develop innovative processes for the construction industry, architects, craftsmen and experienced building owners. Focused on environmentally compatible, patented solutions for road, square and path construction as well as terrace and balcony systems – alternatives that complement asphalt and concrete in a meaningful way.
Academic Partnerships
Through a cooperation agreement, Terrasystem became the research-driven core of TerraElast AG. In this partnership, development was continuously advanced – not only by improving existing systems, but also by developing creative solutions for new fields. Academic expertise was brought together with innovative research and practical applications.
Independent Marketing
With a new marketing strategy, Terrasystem takes sole responsibility for continuing the outstanding system concepts jointly developed with TerraElast. Terrasystem thus establishes itself as the central reference point for all know-how in the fields of polyurethane- and epoxy resin-bound surfaces and systems.
Relocation to Hünxe
In January 2013, Terrasystem relocated its headquarters to Hünxe. The move expanded research capabilities and growth potential – strategically aligned with healthy, sustainable corporate growth and strengthened international reach.
