Whether at home or in the office, this form of surface refinement always makes the best impression and every visitor will notice it. Not only through its seamless installation but also through countless color and effect possibilities, this allergy-friendly flooring stands out (no dust swirling and nearly mite-free compared to textile floor coverings).

Material
A stone carpet consists of small natural stones and is as rich in color variants as nature itself. Before processing into the floor covering, these stones are carefully selected based on various quality characteristics and rounded by water treatment, so that they achieve the desired surface structure and thus an unforgettable barefoot feeling.
Due to the open-pore structure of the floor covering, the stone carpet also acts as a sound absorber, as sound waves can practically discharge into the substrate and are not reflected, as with other materials. Dust swirling is reduced because the dust settles into the pores. The colorfastness of the natural stones also implies the colorfastness of the entire covering – no color can wear off.
The SCS Systems
Our stone carpet system solutions consist of natural stones (other materials possible) and solvent-free binders. They can be easily installed indoors and outdoors according to individual wishes. Depending on the application area, we equip your stone carpet with the appropriate properties, for example drainage capability for outdoor areas or car washing facilities, liquid-tight and/or stabilizing sealants for sensitive or heavily used areas – contact us, we have the right concept for every need.

Stone carpet indoors and in bathrooms
Indoors, stone carpet is a low-maintenance, durable alternative to any floor covering – at home or in the office. It is warm underfoot, sound-insulating and can be laid over underfloor heating.
For wet indoor areas such as bathrooms, SCS-112 is a sealed, liquid-tight system with waterproofing. For walls there are SCS-003 (decorative) and SCS-013 (functional, partially sealed).

Systems for stairs
With the STS systems we surface treads and risers indoors and outdoors – slip-resistant, sound-absorbing and matched to the floor. The stairs can generally stay in use during the work.

Stone carpet is a seamless surface made of small, rounded natural stones bound with a solvent-free binder. It is laid indoors and outdoors on floors, stairs and walls.
Where can stone carpet be laid?

In living spaces and offices, in wet indoor areas such as bathrooms, on balconies, terraces, paths and wash areas, on stairs and on walls. There is a suitable SCS or STS system for each location.
Is stone carpet suitable for bathrooms?

Yes. For wet indoor areas there is the SCS-112 system: sealed pores, liquid-tight and with a waterproofing system.
Can stone carpet be laid over underfloor heating?

Yes, stone carpet can be laid over underfloor heating.
Is stone carpet suitable for allergy sufferers?

Yes. Stone carpet does not stir up dust and is almost free of dust mites compared with textile floor coverings. Dust settles in the pores and is removed at the next vacuuming.
How long does stone carpet last?

Stone carpet is durable, abrasion-resistant and colourfast, because the colour comes from the natural stone itself. For heavily used areas there are stability-optimised systems such as SCS-012 indoors and SCS-011 outdoors.
