Railway Track Construction

Railway Construction

TerraSystem GmbH has many years of experience in the field of constructive gravel bonding within track construction.

Normal railway transportation, but above all high-speed lines, require a technologically advanced railway line and track construction. Just in time at the beginning of the high-speed phase the TerraSystem GmbH team developed various systems, which are part of the modern track construction.

Our Services

01

Slope Stabilization

Secure stabilization of track embankments for lasting protection against erosion and track displacement.

02

Bonding to Prevent Flying Ballast

Patented process to fix ballast and prevent dangerous flying gravel at high-speed train operations.

03

Transition Bonding

Professional connection between ballast track and slab track to significantly reduce maintenance intervals.

04

Construction Area Stabilization

Temporary and permanent securing of work areas on tracks for maximum construction site safety.

05

Mechanical Ballast Bonding with High Coverage Rate

Efficient machine-based application for large-scale projects with consistently high quality output.

06

Protected Special Process for Copper Cable Security

Innovative, patent-protected process to secure copper cables in the track area against theft.

07

Securing Lateral Track Resistance

Higher lateral resistance in the ballast bed holds the track reliably in position and improves long-term stability.

08

Full-Surface Bonding for Easier Cleaning

Bonding the whole ballast surface makes cleaning the track area easier and more thorough, with less maintenance effort.

Ballast Stabilization

Modern railway tracks must meet ever higher demands – greater stability, better travel comfort, and reduced maintenance costs. Terrasystem's ballast stabilization achieves all of this in a single step.

Ballast Stabilization

Stabilization is carried out using mobile two-component mixing equipment: an environmentally friendly epoxy resin is homogeneously mixed with a hardener and sprayed directly onto the ballast.

Your advantages

  • Lower maintenance costs with longer service intervals
  • Sound absorption – ideal for urban public transport areas
  • Easy cleaning in stations and stopping places
  • Approved for use with all major railway companies worldwide
  • High environmental compatibility, no special disposal required
  • Full drainage capability retained
  • Applicable even in extreme weather conditions
